  4. City Gardener Said,

I am a long time gardener who has had off and on success growing vegetables. I own many gardening books including Vegetable Gardeners Bible. I like the Reader’s Digest Book the best as it has a nice format, beautiful pictures and information that other garderning books do not contain. The book covers garden planning, setup, general growing tips, harvesting and storage (no other book has covered this). Then there is a multiple page section for each vegetable that can possible be grown. I also like that there are also two points of view offered by the two authors of this this book: totally organic and the use pesticides in special cases. I paid full price for this book at a local bookstore and felt it was money well spent.
