Not big enough to discuss the flora. Just how, when and why.

If I had examined this book in a store, I would not have purchased it. I was expecting a monthly list of what to do in your Florida garden. Instead, there are ten sections with Jan. through Dec. in each one, so that you have to go to the index to find a plant and then to it’s monthly guide. I already have many garden books that I can use in that way. If the book had been organized by month with subsections for bulbs, annuals, etc listed under each month, it would be much more user friendly.

I am moving to Florida Zone 9 in the near future, and this book will be a great help gardening in a new Zone. It is clear and well organized, so I will know just what to do each month to each plant category, including the lawn. Great book at a good price.
