I purchased this book for my daughter who is a first time owner of a house with a garden. What first attracted me to this book was the title; it sounded young and enterprising and not just another book with ‘dummies’ in the title. She is really enjoying this book and finding it very helpful. Glad I got that one right!

I had “You Grow Girl” checked out from the library for almost a year. It was time to return it and purchase the book for myself. There are lots of easy to follow suggestions and great looking craft ideas in this book. Just wish I had more time to do them. If you live in an apartment, condo, or other urban space this is a great resource. It is a hip, fun book to read. However, it will not answer all your questions. That is okay, you can always find answers to more detailed questions on the internet.

This book is wonderful. It contains lots of information on how to grow in containers, a pattern to make your own gardening apron, and directions on how to build your own composter. I purchased one for me and one for a friend. I love it.
